How to Make Sriracha Brown Sugar Tofu

You will love this recipe for sriracha brown sugar tofu! This dish has some kick to it and goes amazing with wild rice and asparagus. I make sriracha brown sugar chicken a lot and was thinking that the marinade would taste delicious on tofu. I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious this turned out! I could easily eat this once a week. So good!

When I say this dish is spicy I am not joking around. This is for spice lovers, like myself! If you dump sriracha sauce on nearly everything you’re gonna love this dish! If you like spice but you want it milder you can always cut the sriracha sauce in half.

Sriracha Brown Sugar Tofu Ingredients (serves 2)

1 package of extra firm tofu
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1/8 cup sriracha sauce
1/8 cup brown sugar
1/2 tbsp soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Press the tofu between two kitchen towels for 15 minutes by placing something heavy on it
  2. cut the tofu into cubes
  3. fry the tofu in 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil until golden brown, pour into a bowl
  4. add marinade ingredients to the tofu and stir gently
  5. serve!
