This recipe for spicy sriracha brown sugar chicken thighs is incredible! Are you a spice lover? This dish will really hit the spot! I recently made this for my fiance and he absolutely loved it. It’s similar to my Hawaiian Chicken Thighs recipe but the marinade has an extra kick! I like to serve this chicken over rice but you could also serve it over chow mein noodles with veggies. I have a feeling I’m going to be making this all the time! When a recipe is this easy and tastes this good it quickly becomes a staple in my household!

Ingredients (serves 2)
4 chicken thighs
1/4 cup sriracha sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp soy sauce
Instructions
- Place the chicken thighs in a medium size bowl
- Mix together the ingredients for the marinade & then pour it over the chicken thighs
- cover & leave in the fridge for 2-3 hours to marinate
- Preheat the oven to 375°F, let the chicken rest on the counter while you preheat the oven (this will help to bring it closer to room temperature before it starts cooking)
- Pour the chicken and marinade into a round glass pie dish or small caserole dish
- Cover the dish with silicone mats or aluminum foil
- Place the dish on to the center rack of the oven and cook for 45 minutes
- While the chicken is baking make 1 cup of rice in the rice cooker
- Strain the cooking juices through a metal sieve and pour the sauce over the chicken and rice!
- Garnish with fresh green onion and a sprinkle of sesame seeds
- Serve!
Tips: I recommend using this marinade for only a few hours so that the chicken does not get too spicy.
