How to Make Roasted Almonds with Hazelnuts

Roasted almonds with hazelnuts might be my favorite snack of all time! This savory and delicious recipe is perfect year-round but I’m especially excited to make it around the holiday season this year! First, you blanch and peel the almonds and then you mix them with hazelnuts and seasoning and bake them in the oven. They come out hot, flavorful, and 100% comfort food! These would go perfectly alone or with a cheese and olive plate! I also like to sprinkle them on salads too! This dish is healthy and I put a lot of love into making it! I hope you enjoy it!
Roasted Almonds with Hazelnuts Ingredients
1 cup blanched and peeled almonds
1/2 cup hazelnuts
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1/4 tsp salt
pinch cayenne pepper
1/8 tsp fresh rosemary”
a small sprig of rosemary for garnish
Instructions
- preheat oven to 350°
- place a silicone mat onto a baking sheet and then spread the almonds and hazelnuts out evenly
- bake for 15 mins
- remove from heat, let cool for 5 minutes
- pour almonds and hazelnuts into a bowl and add the remaining ingredients, stir
- serve warm!
