How to Make Herb-Roasted Chicken Breast

This recipe for herb-roasted chicken breast is healthy and delicious. Few things are as tasty and comforting as roasted chicken! This dish features fresh Italian herbs and seasonings that taste incredible! If you like the flavor of rotisserie chicken you will love this dish.
Herb-Roasted Chicken Breast Ingredients (serves 4)
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 tsp minced garlic
1 tbsp fresh basil (chopped)
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 1/2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground pepper
1 1/4 tsp paprika
Instructions
- mix all seasoning sauce ingredients together in a small bowl & brush onto the tops of the chicken breasts
- place in the fridge to marinate for a few hours (optional)
- preheat oven to 425°, let chicken rest on the counter as the oven preheats to bring it closer to room temperature
- place chicken breasts in a glass pie dish
- bake the chicken uncovered until it reaches an internal temperature of 167° (I use a meat thermometer), this takes roughly 35 minutes
- remove from oven and let the chicken rest for at least 5-6 minutes, slice
- serve with your favorite sides dishes such as oven-roasted potatoes and steamed green beans
