This delicious bagel sandwich with egg, cheddar & basil has double egg and cheese! Oh my, my! So yummy! I grow my own basil at home indoors and I’m always sprinkling basil leaves into my cooking experiments. This was a very good harmony of flavors and I can’t wait to make it again! Bagel Breakfast Sandwich Ingredients
1 quinoa bagel
2 slices of cheddar cheese
2 egg 2
2 tbsp butter
garlic powder
salt
8-10 chopped basil leaves
Instructions
- toast the bagel, butter the bagel, sprinkle the bagel with garlic powder and a little salt – set aside
- fry the eggs over easy, place the cheese on top and cover the frying pan with its lid until the cheese is melted
- place the egg with cheese onto the bottom half of the bagel, add more garlic powder salt, and the basil leaves, place the bun on top, and cut in half
